dct:abstract
Four new species from France are described and figured: Rotylenchus ascalpi sp. n., characterised by an annulated, rounded and set off lip region; R. corsicus sp. n., characterised by a rounded, annulated lip region; R. echelimae sp. n., characterised by a truncated, smooth lip region; R. provincialis sp. n., characterised by a conoid rounded, annulated lip region and an unannulated tail terminus. The measurements, figures and main morphological differences in relation to the original descriptions of four other populations are given: Rotylenchus capensis, R. eximius, R. magnus jaeni and R. magnus magnus. An emended diagnosis of the genus, a list of valid species and species inquirendae vel dubiae and a tabular key to species are proposed.
