In the French West Indies, 8 spp. of the coleopterous Anthicidae are known: Mecynotarsus chalumequi sp. nov., Anthicus tobias Marseul, Sapintus suzelae sp. nov., S. pallidus (Say), Vacusus vicinus (Laferte), Omonadus floralis (L.), Acanthinus trifasciatus (F.) and A. chalumeaui sp. nov. The 3 new species are described and a key is given for all the West Indies species of anthicid beetles.
