While compiling the inventory of the Orthopteroid insects of Alsace, we observed a small colony of crickets belonging to the species Eumodicogryllus burdigalensis. This colony was found in the %22Petite Camargue Alsacienne%22 nature reserve, between Saint Louis-la-Chaussee and the Rhine river, in the South of the Rhine plain.
