"Alf, A. & Kreipl, K. 2011. A new species of Bolma from New Caledonia. Spixiana, 34(1): 3-8." . "2011"^^ . "Most species of the genus Bolma Risso, 1826 live in deep water. This may explain why 17 of the 40 species known today were discovered after 1979 when Beu&Ponder published their revision of the genus. Another new species of the genus Bolma from the deep water off New Caledonia is described here. Boltna boucheti spec. nov. is a small member of the genus, reaching less than 10 mm height. It is compared with Bolma kreipli Alf, Maestrati&Bouchet, 2010, Bolma fuscolineata Alf&Kreipl, 2009, both also from New Caledonia and Bolma microconcha Kosuge, 1985 which is widely spread in the tropical West Pacific." . .
